LABORATORIES

ADVANCED MATERIALS RESEARCH AND INNOVATION LABORATORY

Available area of ​​approximately 50 m2.

Coordinator: Paulo Neilson Marques dos Anjos.

This laboratory conducts research on advanced luminescent materials, aiming to study new organic, inorganic and hybrid materials for application in electronics.

Equipment: Shimadzu UV-2450 Ultraviolet-Visible Spectrophotometer, with interface system for IBM PC/AT or IBM PS/2 computers; Shimadzu RF-5301PC Spectrofluorimeter; Shimadzu IR PRESTIGE-21 Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrophotometer; DSC-60 Thermal Analysis Module and DTG-60H Thermogravimetry Module with capacity for simultaneous differential and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA-DTA) with "TOP PLAN" type balance with parallel differential guide;

Film development equipment includes a high-vacuum evaporation system for thin film preparation (mod. PV300) from PrestVacuo; a spin-coating deposition system (CHEMAT) from Sigma-Aldrich.
