LABORATORY OF RESEARCH IN NATURAL PRODUCTS AND ORGANIC SYNTHESIS (LPPNS)

This laboratory is coordinated by Professor Rosilene Aparecida de Oliveira.

The research conducted in this laboratory focuses on the phytochemical study of plant species found in the Atlantic Forest and the extraction of Essential Oils.

Equipment:
Our laboratory, Laboratory of Research in Natural Products and Organic Synthesis (LPPNS), is equipped with the necessary tools for the extraction of essential oils and the phytochemical study of extracts, such as analytical balance, fume hood, vacuum pump, ultrathermostatic bath, capillary melting point apparatus, drying oven, air-circulating oven, ABBE refractometer, Clevenger extractors, as well as basic glassware. We also have the following chromatographs: GC-MS - Shimadzu GC 2010 plus - GCMS QP 2010 SE.
